Mixed Doubles

Tennis Tounament

Winners of the Tattenhall Tennis Club Mixed Doubles 2008 competition was the husband and wife team of Gordon and Jackie who won after defeating Brian & Val 7-5, 6-4 in the final.

Wimbledon Tounament at the Rec

Winners of the Tattenhall Wimbledon day at the Rec was again a husband and wife team, this time that of Simon and Jane Roberts who won after a thriling final with David and Ann Thomson, in a time just slightly shorter than the Federer vs Roddick final.

This year as part of our club competition schedule we will be holding Ladies Singles, Ladies doubles, Mixed doubles and posably a mens doubles as well as club one-day events throughout the season.

Cheshire League Results

This year we are again entering both a mixed doubles team and a women's doubles team in the league

Club Competitions

Rules:-

The basic rules are: £2 entry fee. Best of three sets, tie-breaks on all sets. Results to be entered on the schedule on the club notice board inside the rec club and if possible email your results to . Both parties in a tie to contact each other to arrange play, but the ultimate responsiblity rests with the FIRST couple listed in a tie to contact the second couple. If no result entered or no proposed date of play has been entered on the club copy of the schedule, the SECOND couple will go through to the next round, unless it is due to them that the tie has not been played.
