Whether Tattenhall is your village, or whether you come from further afield, you are more than welcome to join Sport & Leisure Tattenhall. The club lies at the heart of our local community, and aims to cater for all age groups from families with juniors, to students and seniors. The club probably has as wide a range of sports facilities as any village in the UK.
Cricket, for example, was first played at the 'Flacca' (the local name for our outdoor playing fields) in 1905 and today we have well supported Cricket, Croquet and Football sections.
Adjacent to the clubhouse are two all-weather floodlit tennis courts, home to our vibrant Tennis section with its own LTA qualified coach. We also have an accomplished and lively Running section- The Tattenhall Runners. They meet twice a week for training runs across the stunning Sandstone Ridge and in the surrounding countryside. Beginners and experienced runners are all catered for.
Our purpose-built clubhouse boasts exceptional fitness, wellbeing and leisure facilities – again with a clear emphasis on inclusion for all members, whatever their age or level of ability. We have two Squash/Racketball courts, a state-of-the-art gym and a large and welcoming Club Bar with outdoor decking and patio area overlooking the main cricket pitch.
Sport & Leisure Tattenhall is a not-for-profit organisation run by its members for its members. This is reflected in our competitive, flexible membership structure, including discounted junior and senior membership, family, corporate, single and multi-sport membership, exclusive gym and club membership. For further details of each sports' section, please click on the individual section below or on the sports drop down menu above; alternatively send us a message. If you think you could help as a volunteer, please do make contact with us.
Come and see our facilities- get in touch and we'll get back to you to arrange a convenient time for a guided tour.
Thank you again for your interest and I look forward to welcoming you in person.

Club Chairman
Football has been played in Tattenhall for more than 400 years. The present pitch was created with funds provided by the Parish Council in 2005/6.
Sport & Leisure Tattenhall offers village cricket at its best, on one of finest grounds in the county.
Tattenhall Croquet Club is the newest section of Sport & Leisure Tattenhall. We have been playing since 2013 and have improved both our standard of play and our lawn.
Our Gym has great value membership deals. Our clean, bright and un-intimidating gym has the equipment to enable all types of training to be undertaken including Cardio Vascular and Resistance equipment, free weights, balance equipment and a stretching area.
Netball is run on Saturday mornings weather permitting at 10am-11am February to December for year 4 upwards. It's £1 per week, pay as you go, for an hour.
Regarded as one of the friendliest running clubs in Cheshire, Tattenhall Runners is an intimate multi-disciplined group of like-minded enthusiasts.
Whether you want to get your squash thrill back or pick up a racket for the first time, you'll find squash an exciting, indoor court-based game for all ages and abilities.
The Tennis section of Tattenhall Sport & Leisure is ideal for both the competitive and the social player, and all ages and levels are welcome.
